About
With almost two decades of dedicated biblical and theological studies at Gordon, Harvard, and abroad in Israel, Corey believes in deep study for meaningful service.
Specializing in the literary artistry and poetic texture of the biblical text, he focuses on analogies and intertextuality. To integrate his academic pursuits with a fervent commitment to the local church, he leads the Bible reading gathering
StoryPeople and spearheads a research collaborative at
Scholar.Church that empowers churches to make disciples as a
Scholar-in-Reach. Both of these endeavors embody his mission to
follow the whole story of Scripture to Jesus.
In 2019, he joined Aletheia and has empowered his home church family in meaningful ways. Joining the staff team in 2023, he anchored his work as a Scholar-in-Residence empowering the preaching, teaching, and discipleship efforts across all congregations and ministry fronts.
